Goalkeeper stays whilst two are released...

Rotherham United youngster Tony Thompson has signed a contract extension that will see him stay with the Millers until the end of the season.

Thompson, who put pen-to-paper on a short-term deal at the start of the season has featured on the bench for the Millers in recent weeks due to an injury to Scott Loach, after an impressive loan spell with Conference South outfit Chelmsford.

Meanwhile, the short-term deals of Mitchell Rose and Nicky Walker have also expired and both will not be retained by the Millers. We would like to thank both players for their efforts whilst with the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
