Steve Evans talks to Millers Player...
Rotherham United manager Steve Evans is set to welcome full-back Frazer Richardson back into his squad ahead of the game with Cardiff City tomorrow.
The former Leeds and Middlesbrough defender missed the 1-1 draw with Blackpool last weekend but Evans confirmed that he trained this week and is in contention for a return against Russell Slade’s Bluebirds at the Cardiff City Stadium.
“Frazer has been training,” the Millers boss revealed to Millers Player yesterday.
“If you are training then you are fit so subject to no after effects to training today and tomorrow then he will be fit to play.”
The news on fellow defender Kirk Broadfoot wasn’t as positive with the Glaswegian central defender set to be out of action for three weeks after he broke his collarbone in the game with the Tangerines last Saturday.
“He (Kirk) has a little crack on his collarbone, I think he just fell awkwardly after a beefy challenge so Kirk will be out for around three weeks,” confirmed Evans.
