Paul Taylor talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

New signing Paul Taylor is looking forward to an ‘exciting challenge’ after agreeing terms on a loan deal with the club this afternoon.

The Ipswich Town forward signed on the dotted line after arriving at New York Stadium today and arrives subject to Football League ratification.

The 26-year-old started his career as a trainee at Manchester City but made his name at Peterborough United before a big money move to Ipswich Town.

“I am delighted to have signed for Rotherham United and I am really looking forward to this exciting challenge,” Taylor told www.themillers.co.uk

“After talking with Steve Evans and Paul Raynor it became clear to me very quickly that this was a club going places and I wanted to be part of what was happening here.

“I’ve been down to New York Stadium this afternoon and I was extremely impressed with what I saw which made the decision to sign even easier. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join a good club with fantastic support and I just cannot wait to put on the Rotherham shirt and do my best for the club.”

Taylor also had a spell playing in Belgium where he represented the likes of Anderlecht and Charleroi, and arrives at New York Stadium looking to be part of the squad that faces Wolves this Saturday.
