FA Charter Standard Club

5 August 2014

Sponsored by

United4Communities FC have been awarded FA Charter Standard status.

The FA Charter Standard programme supported by McDonald’s is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in club and league football. The kitemark is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.

This achievement is a major step in the club development ensuring that the club is well positioned and that United4Communities can grow. There are three levels of FA Charter Standard Awards for clubs to recognise the different standards. The entry level is an ‘FA Charter Standard Club’, the next level is an ‘FA Charter Standard Development Club’ and the most advanced ‘FA Charter Standard Community Club’. So hopefully United4Communities will be able to work their way up the ladder of standards and one day become a FA Charter Standard Community Club!

United4Communities is a football club that engages with diverse communities giving them the opportunity to play competitive football. This year, United4Communities teams will operate at under 16’s and adult level, with a number of friendlies already taking place for the adult side. Most recently the adult team beat Swallownest 3-2.
