Steve Evans told Millers Player...

Millers boss Steve Evans will now aim to try and catch second-placed Brentford after securing a play-off spot in style at the weekend.

The Millers achieved their first target by securing their top six berth after a dramatic comeback at Priestfield on Saturday, and ahead of tomorrow night’s local derby with Sheffield United Evans confirmed he will do everything he can to try and chase down Mark Warburton’s Bess.

“We are concentrating on one game at a time,” Evans told Millers Player.

“It is fair to say that if this was a game of snooker, then we would be needing snookers, but it can happen.

“We are concentrating on one game at a time, we know we can only try and win as many games as we can and then look towards Brentford and see what they do. I think that everyone will accept that Wolves are going to be the Champions, but Brentford have a series of tough matches, as we have, starting by going to Bramall Lane.”

The Millers will be heavily backed at Bramall Lane by an army in excess of 5,000 supporters after completely selling out their allocation this afternoon.
