As part of our Children in Need Teenage Kicks Project we ran holiday activities during the Easter Half-Term.The activity days took place at Mowbray Gardens Library on Tuesday 22nd April- Thursday 24th April from 11:00am-1:00pm each day. 15 participants in total attended the sessions.
During the sessions, participants took part in activities such as table tennis, football, smoothie making and other activities related to healthy eating. Participants also learnt about nutrition such as how much sugar is in drinks.
The sessions took place both inside the library and outside for the practical activities.
Emma Harrison Health and Wellbeing Coordinator said “The sessions ran really well and were well attended so we are looking at ways that we can replicate this in the summer holidays.”
