Millers name young squad for Hull visit...
Rotherham United’s are back in action this evening as they travel to North Ferriby to take on Hull City.
It will be a young side that makes the trip down the M18, with a focus on youth for the fixture against a Tigers team led by former Birmingham City midfielder Stephen Clemence.
Assistant Manager Paul Raynor is looking for some good performances from the youngsters, picking out the reward for Daniel Rowe as an example.
“Daniel has performed really well for the reserves over the past 12 months, which led to him being heavily involved in pre-season and representing us on the bench now the action is underway,” Raynor told www.themillers.co.uk. “We’re now giving the other youngsters a chance to impress this evening and if they respond then they could also find themselves involved with the first team. We monitor the youngsters very closely and what tonight will allow us to do is see how they compete against opponents who will likely be bigger and stronger than them physically.”
The game will played at Grange Lane, the home of North Ferriby United (HU14 3AB). Admission on the gate is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, and kick off is at 7pm.
