Millers to face York in JPT

7 September 2013

Away draw for Rotherham...

Rotherham United will travel to Bootham Crescent in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

The Millers received a bye in round one, meaning they enter at the next round, and will face off against the Minstermen, now under the guidance of Nigel Worthington.

The two sides met in round one last year when York became the first visiting team to win a competitive game at New York Stadium. Steve Evans’ men now have chance to repay the favour at a ground where the two sides drew 0-0 in League Two action last season.

The game will be played, week commencing 7th October.
