9 September 2013

Sponsored by

As of today; Monday 9th September, Memories of Football sessions will start to run again every Monday from 10.00am – 12.00pm at New York Stadium for anyone aged 50+.

The sessions involve discussing football over events/games in the last week as well as past day topics such as the 1961 League Cup final and the 1966 World Cup final etc.

Memories of Football sessions are free although participants wanting cold refreshments will be asked to give a £1 contribution.

Kathryn Wild, Adult Wellbeing Officer said “The Memory of Football sessions were a great success last season and involved heated debates over controversial decisions. I suspect the sessions to be the same this time as the first sessions takes place just after the Rotherham – Sheffield United game.

“So if you want to rant, argue or simply just talk about football then please come down to the Stadium on Monday 9th September.”
