Since the 9the May 2013 the attendance at Rotherham United Community Sports Trust’s drop in Jobshop has steadily risen to date.
The Jobshop takes place every Thursday at New York Stadium and is run on an informal proactive basis with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It is supported by Jobcentre Plus, The Careers Service and several Trade Unions.There have been a total of 23 participants who have attended the Trust’s Jobshop, 12 of whom attended since the start. The 11 other participants started at different times during the project.
Out of these participants, three have secured full time employment and two have secured part-time employment. Other participants have managed to find voluntary work and/or registered onto courses such as numeracy, literacy and IT.
The majority of the participants have achieved their goals in that they have produced a CV, created a Universal Jobmatch Account for job seeking and also created an email account where needed.
RUCST Jobshop welcomes everyone and provides access to laptops, free internet and a full level of support. It can also help you with the following:

-Application Forms
-DWP Universal Job Match account set up (job search)
-Career guidance
