The Millers visit Parkgate Shopping...
Rotherham United fans flocked to Parkgate Shopping yesterday for their chance to meet their Millers heroes.
Supporters queued around the block to get a glimpse of the Millers stars who appeared at the club’s main partner for a very special signing session.
Ben Pringle, Lee Frecklington, Kari Arnason, Joe Skarz, Alex Revell and Michael O’Connor were joined by coach Paul Warne who also rolled back the years to sign everything Rotherham United.
“This was a great opportunity for fans young and old to meet the players, and we are delighted that they turned out in their hundreds,” remarked Parkgate’s Operations Manager, Billy Smith.
Rotherham United’s Commercial Director Steve Coakley added:
“It was an exceptional turnout of supporters which made for another very successful event at Parkgate Shopping. Thanks to everyone who came down and to all of those who helped to make it such an enjoyable experience. We are always looking to strengthen our already strong reputation as a true part of the Rotherham Community and look out for more events similar to this in the future.”
