New signing excited by move...

New Rotherham United loanee Nouha Dicko is raring to go after finalising a deal at New York Stadium today, claiming that there was absolutely "no doubt from me to come here."

Dicko, who has joined from Wigan until January has previously enjoyed spells on loan with Blackpool and Wolves in the Championship and will now be hoping to show what he can do with the Millers.

“I’m really pleased to come to this club,” Nouha exclusively told Millers Player. “I’ve seen that they are doing well in the league and it’s a chance to come here, play and show some good things. I’m determined to do good.”

Steve Evans stated on record previously that he had tried to bring the former Strasbourg youngster to South Yorkshire last season, and after fending off competition from Championship opposition he finally got his man.

“A few days ago I heard from my agent that they were interested and there was no doubt from me to come here to a good team. League One is a good division for young players like me to get games under my belt. I’ve played in the Championship and scored goals so hopefully I can do that here.”

After speaking to Steve Evans at length this afternoon, the Frenchman is already raring to go, and is eligible for Saturday’s game against Carlisle United.

“He spoke to me about how the team plays and I think it’s a really attacking team. It’s really good for anybody who’s an attacker to come into the team that plays attacking football. It suits my style, as they try to create a lot of chances to score a lot of goals,” Dicko concluded.
