On Tuesday the 19th of November, Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, with help from Winterhill School, are hosting the Football League Girls Cup.

Schools from across Rotherham are entering and are in for a chance of representing their school at the national final at Wembley!

The Football League Girls Cup competition is a six aside competition for u13’s girls (years 7 and 8). The winners of the competition held at Winterhill will qualify for the area finals in Derby the week commencing 13th January 2014. The area winners will progress to regional finals and if successful, progress to the grand final held at Wembley Stadium prior to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final on 30th March 2014.

All football league clubs will be hosting a similar competition, with the best schools in the country competing against each other. Best of luck to all teams entering the competition!
