Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are currently recruiting for the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme and you or a member of your family could take part!
NCS is a programme for Year 11 and 12 students (or equivalent age). It gives young people the chance to undertake exciting and challenging activities including archery, kayaking, caving and gorge walking. Participants will meet new people and learn new skills, whilst also having the opportunity to design a project that will help their community and above all, have fun!Watch this video to see the variety of exciting activities that take place http://vimeo.com/58185960
The NCS gives young people the opportunity to get ahead by having fresh experiences and learning new skills that are valuable to employers and further education organisations, such as leadership and team building.
The programme starts during the summer holidays on 29th July and the cost of this fantastic opportunity is only £50!! (Financial support to cover the cost may be available if required).
