Rotherham United supported Armed Forces Day on Saturday 22nd June and was warmly welcomed by the people of Rotherham.
An excellent day was had by all with plenty of people purchasing raffle tickets in hope they would be successful and win a signed Rotherham United football.The draw was made by a representative from 'Away with the Fairies' and the winning ticket, number 21, was won by Gregg from Rotherham.
Jobshop tutor, Russell Morgan said "We would like to say a massive thanks to all who supported this important event and thanks to all that called in to see us for a chat about next season’s matches.
"Again many thanks to the many kind words of support given to us RUFC / RUCST for supporting Armed Forces Day."
All monies from the raffle will be donated to a local military charity.
