New kit selling well on first day...
Eager supporters were queuing up at the Red & White Shop from 8.30am today to get their hands on the new Rotherham United away kit.
The grey strip went on sale at 9am and within the first two hours had already sold in big numbers. The kit, manufactured by Puma includes new sponsor TGB Sheds will be worn on the road by Steve Evans’ side as they travel to Molineux, Bramall Lane and the Ricoh Arena in League One.
Speaking at the launch of the kit on Tuesday, TGB Co-director Graham Vernon said of the shirt, “I like the design of it, and I like how unique the shirt is, it’s not a colour that a lot of other teams have, so it will give the kit maximum exposure away from home.”
Shirts are available in the shop now at £39.99 for adults and £29.99 for juniors. The Red & White Shop will be open for sales this Saturday, which will also be the final day for current season ticket holders to guarantee their seat for next season, before general sale at 9am on Monday 10th June.
If you're going on holiday this summer, make sure you buy your shirt first and send us a picture wearing it for when Snapped returns to Millers Matchday in August. Email your photos to media@rotherhamunited.net
