Steve Evans talks to www.themillers.co.uk...
Boss Steve Evans has confirmed that following tonight’s match with Middlesbrough he will be sending a young side to face Stocksbridge Park Steels tomorrow.
The Millers were beaten 3-2 by Middlesbrough in an entertaining game this evening, but there was a scare in the first-half when David Worrall was withdrawn through injury; however the Millers boss revealed his substitution was just a precaution.
“David was withdrawn as a precaution with a slight groin strain, but he will be fine,” said Evans.
“Daniel Nardiello will be training at the back end of next week with a view of being fit for the game against Crewe, whilst Lee Frecklington has a dead leg but we expect him to be training again before the end of the week. Scott Shearer also has a slight ankle knock and again we expect him back shortly.
“We got 90 minutes into a lot of the lads this evening, and topped up the game time for some of the others, so it will be a young side that will face Stocksbridge tomorrow night.”
The match at Bracken Moor is a 7.30pm kick off.
