RUCST have been running Memories of Football Get Reading Sessions, sponsored by RMBC Community Learning, since January.
They first started at New York stadium, followed by Burch Court and now they are currently running at Maltby and Flanderwell.The sessions consist of football discussions which help develop people’s confidence to talk out amongst a group, as well as ICT skills that are linked to literature. Participants are also showed how to use modern day devices such as Kindles and smart phones.
Kathryn Wild, Heritage Officer said “The sessions have been going really well, all the participants have enjoyed them and feel that the computer skills that they have learnt have benefited them.”
