Striker Morgan set to join on loan...

Rotherham United have captured the signing of Liverpool striker Adam Morgan subject to Football League and FA ratification.

The move comes as a result of the Reds capturing Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea, and the return to fitness of Fabio Borini.

Morgan joins the Millers on loan and will join up with Steve Evans' squad immediately ahead of their trip to face Aldershot in the third round of the FA Cup.

Morgan, 18, has represented the Reds on three occasions this season starting the Europa League ties against Hearts and Anzhi following a substitute appearance in the first leg of the game against the Edinburgh-based club at Tynecastle.

"I am delighted with the signing, a lot of hard work has taken place to get this young lad to the club. I will have more to say when formal registration process has been completed," Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk

The young striker has also represented England at the Under-17 World Cup and more recently at Under-19 level.
