The sessions will aim to engage dads or male carers and their children in a range of different activities.
‘Dads Make a Difference’ is a project that was set up by the RUCST in April 2012 in Maltby and Aston. The project aimed to engage dads or male carers and their children in various activities that ranged from multi-sports to building bird boxes. The RUCST is pleased that announce the programme will now be brought to Swinton. The sessions will start on:
Saturday 9th February until Saturday 23rd February
10am till 12:00pm
Swinton Library
Health Officer Alex Wilson said: “This is a great chance for dads and their young child to do something different together. The families that have come along to previous sessions have had an absolute blast, and they can’t wait to come back. If you sign up, I promise you won’t go home disappointed.”
You and your children will have the chance to participate in multi-sports, learn about healthy eating and build cars, bird boxes and other vehicles.
Please be aware that the Maltby sessions have now finished and the Aston project is currently overbooked. So book yourself on to the Swinton sessions now to avoid disappointment.
