Youngster heads out on loan...
Rotherham United striker Alec Denton has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League team Stocksbridge Park Steels until March 30th.
Denton, who made his Millers debut in the defeat at home to Southend United earlier in the season has featured prominently for the reserves this season netting three times, most recently in the 1-1 draw with Grimsby Town.
This will be Denton’s second loan of the campaign after joining Stamford AFC in January, and the young striker also had a month with Stocksbridge last season. He will be eligible for the game against Whitby Town on Saturday.
