Tavernier & Vuckic set to stay...
Rotherham United have extended the emergency loan deals of Newcastle duo James Tavernier and Haris Vuckic.
The duo, whose initial loan was due to expire after tomorrow’s game with Coventry City, have both penned extensions until the end of January.
Both have been impressive in their short time at New York Stadium with Tavernier starting six times since arriving from St. James’ Park, which included a debut goal in the 4-1 victory over Gillingham. Vuckic crucially netted his first Millers goal in the 1-0 victory over Bradford City on Boxing Day.
“It is obvious to anybody who has seen them play, that they have got fantastic ability,” boss Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk.
“Both of them have been excellent for us and I am delighted that both have agreed to stay.”
