Steve Evans talks to Millers Player...

Manager Steve Evans confirmed that he is set to make changes to his starting 11 for the Boxing Day clash with Bradford City.

Evans, who watched his side draw 3-3 with promotion favourites Wolves last weekend, has promised there will be changes to his side, with a number of players back in full training following injury.

“We are having a behind closed doors friendly, Micky (O’Connor) is playing, Rob (Milsom) is playing, Wozza (David Worrall) is playing, Tidser is playing and Revell is playing,” the Millers boss told Millers Player yesterday.

“We have some players in that game that we really need to see get between 60 and 90 minutes, and put themselves forward for Bradford because I am going to make changes for that game.”

The news of Rob Milsom’s continued recovery will be music to Evans’ ears after the former Aberdeen utility player reacted well to an injection in his back earlier this week. He alongside O’Connor have been missing for almost a month, but with the Northern Ireland international coming off the bench against Wolves, Evans looks set to have two of his big game players available for the Christmas period.

“He (Milsom) has had a couple of injections, the first one gave him much more ease in his back,” confirmed Evans.

“He trained for two or three days last week and Paul Warne then put him through the wringer on Saturday morning and he came through with flying colours.”

There is a full interview with Steve Evans in the build-up to Boxing Day on Millers Player now.
