Millers heading to Leicester...

Academy Manager Garreth Barker is pleased with his team’s preparation ahead of the FA Youth Cup third round clash against Leicester City on Wednesday evening.

The Millers travel to the King Power Stadium after overcoming Fleetwood Town and Bury at New York Stadium in the first two rounds, knowing that a victory against their FA Academy Premier League opponents would set up a tie against Manchester United at New York Stadium in round four.

“Preparations are going as we had envisaged,” Barker told www.themillers.co.uk. “We had a game against Lincoln City at the weekend which we came through that with no injuries. We had a lighter session at the back end of last week, trained Monday and Tuesday and then we will travel to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday for a game that we are all looking forward to.”

The game against will be played at The King Power Stadium with a kick off of 7pm. Admission is £3 adults, £1 for concessions, and just turnstiles 1-6 in the West Stand will be open for spectators.
