Rotherham United Community Sports Trust can now reveal who the newly formed Futsal Scholars will be competing against this season. The announcement follows a regional meeting held earlier this week and we are pleased to announce that The Millers Futsal Team will be battling against;
Doncaster Rovers
Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield United
Huddersfield Town
Bury
Accrington Stanley
With plenty of Yorkshire teams involved in promises to be an exciting first season for the Futsal Squad. The fixture list will be finalised over the coming weeks before the competitive action begins in October. All of the fixtures will be played in a central venue in Leeds and Millers fans will be able to check the Community Sports Trust website for regular updates on how the squad is progressing and league standings. Participation Officer James Cole added “This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in Futsal; we are still on the lookout for players to add to our squad to ensure that the Millers finish on top”.
