Steve Evans talks to Millers Player ahead of the game at Underhill...
Steve Evans will be making a late decision on the fitness of Kari Arnason ahead of the clash with Barnet tomorrow afternoon.
The Iceland international has been suffering from an ankle problem sustained on international duty, resulting in him missing the last two games.
Evans confirmed that a decision of the versatile performer’s fitness won’t be made until later on today.
“Denis (physio) has been working with Kari this week and it will be late on Friday before we make a decision,” Evans told Millers Player yesterday.
“Like I said before the Rochdale game if he is fit then he plays.”
The Millers will be without left-back Laurie Wilson whose knee problem will keep him out of the game at Underhill.
“There is something that has shown up on his scan,” continued Evans.
“We are getting a second opinion on it but we are hopeful that he will be okay and back by next week, but we need that second opinion because we don’t want to cause that player any further damage.”
