Steve Evans talks to Millers Player ahead of the visit of Torquay United.

Rotherham United are likely to be without Kari Arnason for tomorrow’s visit of Torquay after the Iceland international picked up an ankle knock while on duty for his country last weekend.

It is unclear how long Arnason will be out for, but Evans says the club are working “round the clock” with the player to try and get him playing again as soon as possible and there is still a slight chance he could face Torquay.

“It’s going to be a late test to decide whether he’s going to be fit,” explained Evans.

“He’s probably less than 50-50 if I’m honest.  Hopefully the damage is limited and we can get the big man out there.”

Evans did, however, have some good news, with both Dale Tonge and Nicky Hunt both available: “We had a practice match on Tuesday and both players have come through with no ill-effects and that’s very important.”

There is full pre-match build-up to tomorrow’s game on Millers Player now.
