Rotherham United Ladies have had a mixed start to the new season with poor home form and excellent results away

Rotherham United Ladies have had a mixed start to the new season with poor home form and excellent results away. The season kicked off at home with defeats to Loughborough Foxes and Leafield Athletic at home. The lady Millers got their first three points of the season with a 5-2 away victory over Leamington Lions in which Shaw scored 4 goals and Ross got the other. This was followed by a midweek draw away at Radcliffe Olympic with an equaliser from Shaw. The poor home form continued with a 2-0 defeat to Stoke City, before Rotherham United recorded an 8-0 win over Daventry Town, away. The ladies ended September in a close fought game with Curzon Ashton, in which end to end football was played in a 2-3 defeat.

Rotherham United Ladies next home matches are against Leamington Lions on the 14th October (2pm kickoff) and Radcliffe Olympic on the 17th October (7.45pm kickoff). The Ladies play at the men's training ground (Roundwood Sports & Social Club, Green Lane, Rawmarsh, Rotherham S62 6LA) and tickets are available on the gate at £2 for adults and £1 for children.
