Memories of Football is a combination of football discussion and exercises
Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are launching an exciting new session, targeted at the more mature men. Extra Time: Memories of Football is a combination of football discussion and exercises. (A sample session is shown below.) The session will run for ten weeks, initially, every Monday 10-12.Heritage Officer, Kathryn Wild says: ‘I am very excited about this project and getting a chance to relive football memories. We should have some interesting debates coming up such as whether the ball did cross the line in the 1966 World Cup Final and whether it was Pele, Maradona, Cruyff or Beckenbauer that was the best footballer of all time.’
The first session will be held on 15th October at New York Stadium. If you are interested or know anyone that is interested in taking part in the session, please contact Alex Wilson, Health Officer on 07885 461730 or health@rotherhamunited.net, Kathryn Wild, Heritage Officer on 07947 743064 or heritage@rotherhamunited.net or the Community Office on 01709 827767.
