In association with Npower's Home Team Heroes programme, the RUCST are running P.E sessions in schools that have a focus on respect.
The Respect campaign may be coming to a school near you by February.
The RUCST is proud to announce that, in partnership with Npower’s Home Team Heroes programme, the Trust is able to deliver respect sessions within schools. In fact, Npower have delivered respect workshops to over 18,000 children.
The Trust’s very own tutors and coaches are looking to increase that number, by getting out there in the Rotherham community to show the younger generation the importance of respect, and are proud to spread Npower’s Home Team Heroes message.
The sessions will involve taking the idea of respect and putting it into a one hour P.E session format. The year 5/6 kids will learn about the importance of teamwork, citizenship, and understanding what respect means within sport and everyday life. But, of course, it will have its own RUCST P.E stamp on it.
