Please buy an extra can for the Food for People in Crisis Partnership

Can you give up just a fraction of your weekly shop for someone less fortunate?

The Rotherham United Community Sports Trust and the Food for People in Crisis Partnership are pleading that you do. Please donate an item to the base of the Trust and you will make a difference in someone’s life this Christmas.

Rotherham United are proud to support the Food for People in Crisis Partnership, which is a group of twelve organisations that help people in emergency situations by providing them with food (either a parcel of basics to take home or a cooked meal).

Community manager Jamie Noble said: “Christmas is one of the most difficult times of the year, and this is a chance for us to show the people of Rotherham our support. Christmas is supposed to be a time of giving and joy for everyone, but there are those who are less fortunate than others, so please give whatever you can.”

Millers’ own Andy Warrington was quick to echo Jamie Noble’s comments, he said: “It’s a great feeling when I see and hear the support at the New York stadium on a Saturday afternoon from Millers’ fans. But I can’t think of any better feeling then giving something back to those less fortunate than myself. So, please, I urge all Rotherham United fans to donate whatever you can. Even one tin of food will make an amazing difference.”

These people need your help now.

All you need to do is simply buy an extra item from the list below when you do your weekly shop and bring it down to Mangham House between 10am and 3pm. Or you can make a donation by sending a cheque to the Food for People in Crisis address below.
