Steve Evans talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Steve Evans will meet with Chairman Tony Stewart this morning to work through a plan to help with his crippling injury list.

Last night's encounter with Wycombe Wanderers witnessed Lee Frecklington, Josh Morris and Alex Revell added to the treatment room after all three were forced off.

They join Scott Shearer, Dale Tonge, Kari Arnason, Craig Morgan, Lionel Ainsworth, David Noble, Jamie Devitt and Kieran Agard on the sidelines, but Evans is hopeful of alleviating some of the casualties by adding some new faces before the end of the emergency loan window tomorrow.

''Let me tell everyone now we will come through this and it will make us stronger as a team,” Evans told www.themillers.co.uk this morning.

“I will do my best to add a player or two before tomorrow's loan transfer day deadline but it is not easy. Our squad is outstanding as a whole but when you are missing so many quality players it will be a problem.

''Before last night's match it was already at emergency levels and it has gone a way beyond that.

''I am not one for excuses but just look at the detail on those that are not available, it is unprecedented to have as many established quality first-team players missing at one time.

''I have had injuries in my squads before, many of them but never like this.

''I will have more to say later today or tomorrow but for now it is about getting our heads down and working hard.”
