Steve Evans talks to www.themillers.co.uk...Boss Steve Evans has labelled the Millers FA Cup second round clash at home to Notts County as ‘the tie of the round.’
The Millers booked their place in round two after a 3-2 victory over League One high-flyers Stevenage on Saturday, and Evans believes that Keith Curle’s Magpies will help provide another cup classic at New York.
“I said prior to the Stevenage game that it was the tie of the round and after what we witnessed at New York yesterday it proved to be the case,” Evans told www.themillers.co.uk
“We have a home draw again and once again there is no question whatsoever in my mind that we have the tie of the round against a very good Notts County side.
“I have no doubt that we will have a full house at New York Stadium and an electric atmosphere, and it would be a great opportunity for the cameras to come down and visit the best stadium outside the Championship for the first time.”
The ties will be played the weekend of the 1st and 2nd December.
