Steve Evans urges the fans to fill New York Stadium...

Steve Evans has urged Millers fans to turn up in numbers this weekend, as Rotherham United attempt to make the FA Cup third round for the first time since 2004.

The Millers have a tough task against Keith Curle’s Notts County, who currently occupy 6th position in League One, but after overcoming Stevenage in round one Evans will be confident his side can cause another upset.

With a large following expected from Nottingham, Evans urged the Millers faithful to come down in numbers after receiving fantastic support during the back-to-back away victories over Exeter City and Accrington Stanley.

“Notts County are turning up in big numbers, they are selling a lot of tickets, so come on Millers fans, we need you to come down and get behind us,” rallied the Millers boss after Tuesday’s victory at the Crown Ground.

“We have won away from home twice now, worked really hard and the minimum I can promise you on Saturday is that we’ll give you everything we have got, some come down and really get behind us.”

Tickets for the game are on general sale now from the ticket office at New York Stadium.

Supporters are reminded to avoid unnecessary queuing on matchday, we advise that you buy in advance from the ticket office or online at www.rotherhamunitedshop.co.uk
