Evans to send footage

Steve Evans talks to

Manager Steve Evans has confirmed this morning that he has sent a copy of key incidents of Saturday’s game with Gillingham to the Football League.

Evans was unhappy with a number of decisions on the day, which included an elbow on captain Ian Sharps which left him with a broken nose, and a number of penalty appeals which were not given.

The Millers manager confirmed that a DVD has been sent to the League’s officials chief, David Allison, this morning.

“For me there was an elbow by Deon Burton on Ian Sharps which should not have gone unpunished, and there were a number of key incidents which didn’t go in our favour,” he told

“In the second half in my opinion there was a clear penalty for a foul on Alex Revell, whilst Liam Ridehalgh was also fouled when running into the box.

“Towards the end of the game Ben Pringle also had a shot which was handled just outside the area, which should have been a free-kick.

“The key incidents have been highlighted on Millers Player, I said to my players that the official was a good one before the game but for me he has had a bad afternoon.”
