Rotherham United can confirm that the club are investigating an incident which involved an object(s) being thrown onto the pitch during the Boxing Day game against Port Vale.

This is a serious and dangerous act and marred what was otherwise a fantastic occasion with all home tickets sold out. The club is currently reviewing CCTV footage to try and identify the culprit and if anyone has any information that might help we would ask you to contact the club Safety Officer Paul Davis at office@rotherhamunited.net or call 0844 4140733.
