Rotherham United’s planned open training session, pencilled in for Tuesday morning, has been postponed.
The Millers had planned to open the doors to the New York Stadium, but due to continuing work at the site the session will now be moved to a new date.
“Whilst preparations for the Burton game are all but complete we want to remove any potential hold ups to the final work of the contractors being finished,” said Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas.
“The open session has been in the diary for some weeks but after reviewing the situation, we feel that the most important aspect next week will be to make sure that the Burton game runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
“We would like to reassure fans that we are still committed to staging an open day or open training session at some point in the future.”
