Steve Evans talks to Millers Player ahead of the game at Northampton...

Steve Evans expects Johnny Mullins to win his fitness battle and be available for the game at Northampton Town tomorrow night.

The Millers vice-captain was forced off at half-time after a robust challenge in the first-half of the Millers 3-0 victory over Burton Albion on Saturday.

After treatment over the weekend, the combative defender has reported in for training this morning, with boss Evans revealing to Millers Player that he expects him to be fit for tomorrow night.

“We are expecting Johnny to be fit,” confirmed Evans.

“We are grateful that it isn’t a nasty one because at one stage we thought he might have tweaked his ligaments in his knee, but thankfully it seems to be a lot less than that.”
