Rotherham United Community Sports Trust will be a hosting a summer games event in Ferham Park
Rotherham United Community Sports Trust will be a hosting a summer games event in Ferham Park on the 29th of August from 1-4pm. The event will see the community come together to take part in a range of different sports and cultural activities drawing inspiration from the Olympics. Through funding acquired from South Yorkshire Sport the community of Ferham will get the chance to take part in Football, Handball and Athletics along with different Crafts and Dance workshops. Additional entertainment will be provided by YMCA White Rose and Rotherham Youth Service.
Mark Cummins Cohesion Officer at RUCST commented ahead of the event: “We are really hoping this event brings the event together to take part in a wide range of activities, we have worked in Ferham for the past three years and we hope that this event is a real celebration of the positive relationships we have built with the local community.”
