Boss Steve Evans reveals Kari Arnason has been called up for international duty, on Millers Player.
Kari Arnason has been called up to the full Iceland squad for the friendly against the Faroe Islands on the 15th August.
Boss Steve Evans confirmed the call-up to Millers Player yesterday afternoon, but added that it won’t affect his involvement against Hull City at the weekend, and for the league curtain raiser against Burton Albion on the 18th August.
“I would imagine that he will fly out on Sunday, he’ll play on the Wednesday and then rest on Thursday. It is only a couple of hours so he will join up with us again on Friday, it’s no different to us playing a midweek game.”
