Evans and Raynor at the Green Dragon tonight...

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans will be present for a sold out evening at the Green Dragon in Kimberworth.

The event, hosted by the Rotherham United nostalgia society is a monthly event with each meeting inviting along a special guest to talk about the Millers’ past, present and hopefully an exciting future.

Steve, had to miss last month’s scheduled evening due to illness, but will no doubt be in good form as both Paul Raynor and himself discuss matters at the helm.

“I am looking forward to a good evening,” said Millers boss Steve Evans. “I am proud and honoured to be invited to such an event whilst I also look forward to meeting up with a number of very knowledgeable Millers supporters.

“We are all very excited about the present and of course the future, but this football club has a proud history that should never be forgotten. Each time I go out into the community, I not only meet true Millers fans, but learn more about specific events and matches that have taken place over the years.”

“I understand the evening was sold out very quickly, and the love the people of Rotherham have for their football club never ceases to amaze me.”

The evening is scheduled for an 8pm kick-off and supporters are reminded that nobody will be admitted without a ticket.
