Rotherham United’s Academy kicked off their Youth Alliance League campaign with a 4-0 demolition of Lincoln City at Roundwood.

Tyrone Lewthwaite opened the scoring after just 15 minutes before Jacob Gratton added a second for the Millers just after the half hour-mark.

The hosts didn’t relent following the restart and increased their tally when Robbie Gateshill etched his name on the scoresheet on 63 minutes.

Lewthwaite completed the rout less than 10 minutes from time when he added his second of the game on 82 minutes to ensure the Millers’ youngsters emerged as comfortable victors on their maiden outing of 2018/19.
