Pablo initially joined Rotherham as a central defender but played the majority of the last couple of seasons in central midfield, with great success. He started his career at Derby County and made over 50 appearances in four years at Pride Park. After loan spells at MK Dons and Walsall he signed for the Millers in July 2006 and was a regular in his first full season with the club. At the start of the 2007/2008 season he was loaned out to Crawley Town but returned to play a vital role in the Millers season. He was awarded the Captaincy last season and started 42 games netting his only goal in the match against Chesterfield.
