Rotherham United will be looking to continue their winning start to the season ahead of a tough trip to London Road to face Peterborough United in the first round of the Carling Cup.
Both sides started the new season with a victory after the Millers defeated Lincoln City 2-1, whilst the Posh hammered Bristol Rovers 3-0.
Ronnie Moore has a selection headache going into the game with Dale Tonge, Tom Pope, Ryan Taylor, Johnny Mullins and Nick Fenton all missing through injury. On loan duo Exodus Geohaghon (from Peterborough) and Dean Holden have been forced to sit the game out under the terms of their loan contract, whilst midfielder Mark Bradley is also an absentee after he was called up to the Wales under-21 squad. Jamie Green and Stephen Brogan will be hopeful of a recall to the starting 11.
Peterborough boss Gary Johnson is without captain Grant McCann, who is on international duty with Northern Ireland. Winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is a slight doubt after limping out at the weekend so Arron Davies could start.
The last time the two sides met at London Road was back in 2008. The Posh came out 3-1 winners after goals from Charlie Lee, Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith. The Millers registered in injury time after a goal from Ryan Taylor.
Overall the two sides have met 30 times in league and cup games over the years with the Millers winning 10, the Posh winning 9, whilst 11 games have ended in a draw.
