Rotherham United must look to amend a run of two successive defeats and get back to winning ways when they travel to take on Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road.
Even though the Millers remain in a good position in the League Two table they have slipped away from the automatic promotion places in recent weeks, however a top three finish is still within their grasp as they enter the business end of the season.
The Millers are currently sitting in sixth position in the league five points adrift of third placed Bury, however they have the advantage of two games in hand and they go into this game boasting a respectable away record. Despite losing on six occasions this season they have collected points in 10 of their 16 games on the road so far with nine victories and just one draw amongst them.
The hosts in contrast will be full of confidence as they chase a play-off spot. With 10 wins on home soil this season the Daggers find themselves in 10th in League Two just five points behind the necessary seventh position and against the Millers they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches. Since suffering a run of five defeats in six matches they have managed to hit form with back-to-back wins and they will be on the goal trail again after their two recent consecutive 0-0 stalemates.
When the Millers ran out 2-0 winners when the two teams met at Don Valley earlier in the season it was only the fifth time ever they had come face to face in all competitions. Since the Daggers joined the Football League in 2007 they have failed to beat their South Yorkshire counterparts, in the 2007/08 campaign the Millers recorded a league double with a 2-0 away win and 2-1 success in the home fixture and with both games last season ending as 1-1 draws they will be keen to record another double scalp.
