The Millers will make their first ever visit to the New Meadow tomorrow when they take on Shrewsbury Town.

Rotherham will be looking to end a run of four away matches without a win and improve on a recent run which has seen just one win in the last eight games. Rotherham will be without reserve team goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell after he was recalled from his loan at Millmoor by Sheffield Wednesday.

The Millers will be buoyed by their record over Shrewsbury in recent years which has seen them undefeated against the Shrews for nearly 10 years. The last time Rotherham made the trip to Shropshire to play Shrewsbury was just over eight years ago and the match ended in a goalless draw at the old Gay Meadow. The Millers last win at Shrewsbury came in April 1999, when Rotherham edged an entertaining game 3-2. Leo Fortune-West put the Millers in front early on but his strike was quickly cancelled out by Lee Steele. Paul Warne restored the lead in the second half but Shrewsbury looked like they had secured a point when Steve Jagielka equalised 10 minutes from time. Rotherham then snatched a late winner when on loan defender Phil Whelan scored with four minutes of time remaining to give the Millers maximum points. Rotherham have not lost at Shrewsbury since their 2-1 defeat at the old Gay Meadow in October 1997.

Shrewsbury have recently parted company with manager Gary Peters and his assistant John McMahon has taken over on a temporary basis, his first game in charge will be against the Millers tomorrow. The Shrews are on a poor run of form and have only won one of their last 12 league games, which has seen them drop to 16th position in League Two, their lowest position this season. The Shrews have been in good form in their new stadium this season and they currently have the seventh best home record in the division.

Rotherham may have the threat of facing two former Millers players if they are selected for tomorrow's game. Dave Hibbert had a loan spell at Millmoor in the 2006/07 season and played 22 games for the Millers in all competitions scoring two goals. Colin Murdock had a two year spell with the Millers between 2005 and 2007 and played 47 games, scoring twice. Both Murdock and Hibbert were on the bench for the Shrews last league fixture against Barnet.
