Rotherham United FC

After intensive talks with Alan Knill, and taking into consideration the position of Rotherham United, the Board of Directors have made the decision to release Alan from his role as manager. This action was not taken lightly, but it was felt that this was the only option considering our current plight. As for the immediate future, Mark Robins will take charge of first team affairs for the game against Bradford this Saturday, and we hope you will give Mark your full backing in his role as caretaker manager. This is now a time that we all need to pull together, from the fans to the board of directors, we all need to get behind our team and show them our support which will give them that much needed confidence. We would like to wish Alan and his family all the best for the future and thank him for all the hard work he has done down at Millmoor.
