The Chuckle Millers

Millers Make Two Big Signings
Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman is delighted to announce the appointment of new Honorary Presidents in the shape of The Chuckle Brothers. Paul and Barry have taken up the role with immediate effect.
Denis said: 'It is great for the club to be able to recognise its most famous fans in this way. We are doing everything we can to encourage more kids to come down to Millmoor as we recognise they are our fans of the future The brothers are massive Millers supporters and they will be doing all they can to endorse and improve the profile of the club. It has been a tough time in recent months for all concerned with Rotherham United and it is nice to be sharing some good news.'
The brothers, stars of BBC One's 'Chucklevision', have followed the team for over five decades and consider it a privilege to be asked to take up the honorary position.
Paul said: 'It is a real pleasure to be associated with the club in this way. Things have been difficult for them over the last few years and we hope to improve the club's image and encourage everyone to get behind the team. We were born just up the road from Millmoor; Rotherham United is in our blood.'
Barry added: 'Wherever we appear people know we are Millers fans, now we can look forward to making that connection even better. The town needs this football team and we are relishing the opportunity to support Denis and Alan in getting the club back in the Championship.'
Having just completed their 'Cinderella' pantomime in Hull, the Chuckles are about to embark on a huge UK tour of their own production 'Spooky Goings on 2'. And with the new series of 'Chucklevision' on our screens in the next month, Barry and Paul are busier than ever. But they are making a special effort to be at the Swansea game, when they will be signing autographs for fans. The club are also making this game a 'Kids for a Quid' night (see details on the Miller's website), even more reason not to miss it.
