One of Rotherham United's many promising young players is Ryan Taylor who is serving his first season as a full time professional and he came on as a second half substitute against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Reflecting back on that he commented: "I enjoyed myself, I tried to do the simple things right and hopefully I impressed the fans. I did well in the air as I was up against some big defenders, I just tried to get up early and won a couple of flick ons.

"Since becoming a full time player I have just tried to train hard and it is coming off while training every day with the senior pros helps a great deal.

"Now I am looking for my first start and then things can go on from there.

The feeling in the camp is good and now we are into the plus points, we would be 16th if we hadn't had that minus ten so we can push on from here."
