Millers settle Jamal Campbell-Ryce dispute

Jamal Campbell-Ryce
Rotherham United and Southend United are pleased to confirm that the much publicised dispute concerning Jamal Campbell-Ryce has been amicably settled.
The clubs sensibly decided to settle their differences without the need for a full Football League hearing and decision.
Rotherham United chairman Denis Coleman said: "I am exceptionally pleased that this matter has been resolved in the best interests of both clubs and the player. This is good news for the club in its continuing fight for survival. This settlement is also great news financially particularly in this difficult period.
"I would like to personally thank Ron Martin, chairman of Southend United, for his professionalism and his constructive approach. Mr Martin will be extremely welcome at Millmoor anytime in the future."
